GIRLS ROCK!!

Last summer I taugh self defense class to the girls rock summer camp. http://girlsrockchicago.org/
I must say, I was told originally I was teaching 20 girls, but as the day grew closer, the other self defense teachers cancelled, thus I ended the sole one standing and taught 100 girls the workshop. It ended up being piles of fun and the girls were inquisitive, asked a ton of questions, they wanted to know more. This camp is amazing for girls to be empowered through music and other activities that the camp has scheduled. I noticed that this year, the girls not only can learn how to be in a band, but there is a DJing course (I secretly want to participate in this camp)
